Richard T. Northrup was born and raised in upstate New York. Rich attended Elmira College, a small Liberal Arts School in Elmira, NY, from 1997 until graduation in 2000. Rich was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Society. Rich graduated Cum Laude in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. After graduation, Rich attended the New England School of Law from 2000 until graduation in 2003. From fall of 2001 until graduation in 2003, Rich was a member of the New England Law Review. In 2003 Rich graduated Magna Cum Laude and was ranked fourth in his law school class. Prior to joining the QuickSilva Title, LLC, Rich was a real estate title examiner, where Rich performed real estate title examinations, as well as complicated real estate research for other attorneys. This experience has served Rich well as a real estate attorney. At the QuickSilva Title, LLC, Rich works in the real estate section. Rich performs residential real estate closings as well as reviewing and negotiating purchase and sale agreements for both buyers and sellers. Further, Rich prepares and files documents for two to four-unit condominium conversions in many Massachusetts communities. In addition to his real estate responsibilities, Rich also drafts wills, negotiates and drafts contracts, and drafts notices to quit for landlords.
