Ted Silva, Esq.

Ted Silva was born in 1974. His family emigrated from Portugal in 1968. Growing up, his grandfather always told him that he could be President of the United States since he was the first-born American in his family. Edward is his legal name, but his family chose to call him “Teddy” from birth in honor of Senator Ted Kennedy. As Ted grew older, people began to call him “Ted”. When Ted was 4 years old his family moved from Somerville, MA to Lexington, MA. After graduating from Lexington High School in 1992, Ted graduated from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1996. In 1999, Ted graduated from New England School of Law and began practicing law. Ted’s father, Fernando Silva, is the key to Ted’s success as a Top Real Estate Lawyer. When Ted was in elementary school, his teacher asked the class, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”. Most children answered police officer, fireman, etc. Ted answered that he wanted to be a Real Estate Agent, just like his dad. Following along the same path as his father, Ted grew up to be a Real Estate Lawyer!

Ted was eager from birth, he learned how to walk before he ever crawled. Today, Ted continues his eagerness in servicing his clients by standing up for them “and not crawling”! Trust Ted for all of your Real Estate needs.

As quoted from Century 21.com: “Mark and Ted’s father, Fernando Silva is, without question, the most successful, well-known, well-liked, and honored sales associate in the history of the Cambridge & Somerville real estate market. A top producer for more than 20 years, Fernando has sold more than 1,000 houses, which add up to more than $150,000,000 in combined sales at a time when a 3-family sold for $30,000 in Davis Square, Somerville.  He is a member of CENTURY 21® System’s most elite group, The International Hall of Fame.”
